The fifth POAD Creative Advertising Competition took place on 20 Feb. Reflecting our passion for encouraging young people to explore and develop innovative outdoor advertising media, four finalist teams from PolyU Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) presented their integrated marketing communications plans, tailored for the launch of a new product or service of a real company.

Jury member Mr Alfred Cheng, General Manager of Sales of POAD, commented, "I was delighted to see that the finalists' presentations were thoroughly prepared despite time limitations. The students have smartly utilised a variety of high-quality designs, visuals and video aids to elaborate their IMC ideas, covering outdoor, social media, and event executions. I was truly impressed.”

POAD awarded scholarships and certificates to the winning teams, and offered summer internship at POAD to the most outstanding performer. We sent many congratulations to the prize winners and hope all the students will sustain their interest in marketing and contribute to an extraordinary future for outdoor advertising.

ARTSFESTIVAL

Alongside our commitment to promoting 'advertising art', POAD has partnered with Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) this year as their first Official Outdoor Media Partner. This collaboration further enhanced our presence in the local art scene.

Our partnership has also reinforced public awareness of this first-class arts event with prominent advertising exposure of HKAF in Central and Quarry Bay.

We were honoured to have been part of this artistically inspiring festival and to have taken our seats alongside our esteemed business partners at a performance of La Verità - a multi-dimensional circus-art show. POAD wishes to thank all those who were able to accept our invitation.
